🔔Kelp DAO vulnerability triggers chain reaction, over $4 billion in assets migrated from LayerZero to Chainlink CCIP
According to CoinDesk, DeFi protocol Lombard announced the migration of over $1 billion in Bitcoin-backed assets (LBTC, BTC.b) from LayerZero to Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP). This move stems from the Kelp DAO bridging vulnerability incident in April, which resulted in the theft of $292 million in assets. Currently, several protocols, including Kelp DAO, Solv Protocol, Re, and Kraken, have completed or are in the process of similar migrations, involving a total asset value of approximately $4 billion.

🚨Quick Look: Best Bitcoin Yields🚨
Yes, Bitcoin prices dipped slightly today, but market sentiment is shifting.
Therefore, here are some of the best sources of Bitcoin yield currently available:
1) @ipor_io's Bitcoin Vaults (Annualized Yield 1%-7%)
These vaults operate on an "arbitrage trading" model. They use Bitcoin as collateral to borrow stablecoins and earn yields from those stablecoins.
@reservoir_xyz's vaults are particularly outstanding.
2) @gauntlet_xyz's Bitcoin Vaults (Annualized Yield 1%-2%)
Gauntlet offers numerous Bitcoin vaults, but a few stand out.
➤ Gauntlet BTC Yield: 2% (788K TVL)
➤ Gauntlet WBTC Balanced: 1.73% (3.78 million TVL)
Both platforms can handle substantial amounts of capital and are guided by Gauntlet's professional management mechanisms and risk parameters. 3) @avantprotocol savBTC / avBTCx (3-5% annualized yield)
Every time I mention Avant, I feel the need to emphasize that we were quite concerned about them at first because of their gray-box mechanism. However, they have maintained complete transparency for several months, which gives me more confidence in their strategy and performance.
If I remember correctly, they are currently in the S1 stage.
In short, they use a two-tier mechanism, with the current yield for the senior tier at 3.78% and the junior tier at 4.75%.
Most of the risk exposure is concentrated on @ZestProtocol on @Stacks, so please ensure you can accept this risk exposure before depositing.
4) @yield yoBTC Vault (11% annualized yield)
This project is interesting because its base yield is actually quite conservative, but it offers an additional 10% annualized yield through incentives.
Yo's advantage lies in the transparency of all strategies and rebalancing operations, which minimizes trust issues/gray-box risk.
5) @Uniswap WBTC/LBTC LP (7-10% Annualized Return)
I really like this project, but it's primarily geared towards users who like to get in early or have a more complex CLP management system.
Currently, the TVL is only 250,000. It seems this 1bps fee tier has recently impacted the 5bps pool, which currently still has 7 million TVL.
To enjoy a higher annualized return (APR), you need to keep the price within a 1-2 basis point range.

Multi-chain lending protocol ZeroLend has announced the phase-out of its operations after approximately three years, citing reasons including declining liquidity on multiple supporting chains, disruptions to oracle support, and the protocol's long-term inability to generate sustainable revenue. The platform has set most markets to 0% LTV and urges users to withdraw their assets as soon as possible; some on-chain locked funds will be returned through timelock upgrades and contract adjustments. Base chain LBTC users will receive partial refunds.
