XRPL Overview of the Hacker松 Event
This AI vs Fintech XRPL Hacker松 is a 36-hour developer competition organized by XRPL Commons, a non-profit organization focused on the XRP Ledger ecosystem.
This hackathon brings together developers, entrepreneurs, designers, and financial experts to build new applications on top of XRP Ledger.
The total prize money for the event exceeds $40,000. Mastercard, Ripple, XRP Ledger Foundation, Ledger, Amazon Web Services ( AWS ), and QuickNode will provide guidance and serve as judges.

Cooperation between Mastercard and Ripple expands
There already exists an actual cooperative relationship between Mastercard and Ripple that exceeds the ecological scope initiated by XRP Ledger.
In November 2025, Ripple announced that it is collaborating with Mastercard, WebBank, and the cryptocurrency exchange Gemini to research traditional credit card transaction settlement solutions based on RLUSD.
According to the proposed arrangement, RLUSD will support blockchain-based settlements between Mastercard and WebBank, with the latter being the issuing bank.
In August 2023, Ripple joined Consensys, Fireblocks, and other companies to become one of the first members of the partnership program for Mastercard's central bank digital currency ( CBDC).
On the other hand, Mastercard is also rapidly expanding its product lineup related to stablecoins.
In June 2026, Mastercard indicated its intention to introduce new settlement options, incorporating regulated stablecoins, including RLUSD from Ripple. This payment giant also supports USDC from Circle, PYUSD from PayPal, USDG from Paxos, and USDP, as well as SoFiUSD.
