News from IT on October 8th: TSMC announced today that its revenue for September 2026 was NT$511.86 billion (Note from IT: The current exchange rate is approximately RMB 107.747 billion), which represents a month-on-month decrease of 0.6% and a year-on-year increase of 54.6%.
TSMC's revenue for the first three quarters of 2026 was NT$389.873 billion (approximately RMB 820.683 billion at current exchange rates), representing a year-on-year increase of 41.1%.

TSMC hit a record high on the Taiwan stock market on October 5th, reaching a high of NT$2,580 (approximately RMB 543.1 at current exchange rates) in the morning session. Goldman Sachs raised TSMC's 12-month target price from NT$3,100 (approximately RMB 652.5 at current exchange rates) to NT$3,300 (approximately RMB 694.6 at current exchange rates), indicating a potential increase of about 28%.
Goldman Sachs expects TSMC's revenue in 2026 and 2027 to increase by 42% and 36.9% year-on-year respectively in US dollars, with gross margins of 67.2% and 67.5% respectively.
