During this event, Microsoft Windows confirmed with Parvaneh Darvalluri ( Pavan Davuluri ), the person in charge of the devices business, that Microsoft has not abandoned the Copilot + PC brand, and stated that currently over 40% of commercial laptops are Copilot + PC.

Davuluri stated that these devices have an annual shipment volume of tens of millions units, with over 2 trillion local inference operations per month, covering scenarios such as search, image processing, and video calls.

In terms of functionality, D'Arvulluri stated that Microsoft will further enhance the capabilities of Copilot + PC through hybrid intelligence ( hybrid intelligence ), providing the following three key local capabilities:

• Local context (Local context): To enable Copilot to understand the files and recent activities on PC.
• Local operations ( Local actions ): Allow Copilot to move files or change settings on behalf of the user.
• Local models (Local models): Enable Copilot to access the AI model running on PC.
