Belleair, Texas, USA, October 6th / PRNewswire / -- RES ( Resource Environmental Solutions, LLC ) Today, we announce the launch of EcoSite IQ, a proprietary approach designed to help customers identify, evaluate, and prioritize environmental projects.
RES is the largest provider of nature-based solutions in the United States, offering services that include ecological restoration, environmental mitigation, water quality improvement, and coastal resilience enhancement. RES combines ecological science, engineering, and long-term land management to assist public and private sector partners in meeting complex regulatory requirements and achieving voluntary ecological goals.
RES will assess opportunities in the early stages, help clients understand the environmental and technical conditions that affect the projects, and develop solutions that are consistent with their goals. RES Experts will guide the projects from early feasibility analysis and remediation planning, all the way to construction and long-term management. RES also provides consulting services for ecosystem portfolios, helping clients compare opportunities across different properties, watersheds, or broader geographical areas, and prioritize investments based on potential environmental benefits, feasibility, and project objectives.
EcoSite IQ is based on predictive analysis and automated geospatial modeling, and is built upon this field-tested methodology. The system integrates topographic, hydrological, engineering, and ecological data to assess large geographic areas. By quickly screening vast regions, EcoSite IQ enables RES to focus its technical due diligence on project sites with the highest ecological and economic value.
The initial application of this method focused on water resources projects, identifying those that could bring verified hydrological benefits. Early deployments have identified several individual opportunities, with estimated annual water supply volumes ranging from 26 million gallons to 665 million gallons. RES is currently expanding EcoSite IQ to include water quality credits, watershed restoration, riverbank habitats, and assessment of terrestrial biodiversity.
RES CEO Roger Wiederkehr stated: " EcoSite IQ has improved the accuracy of assessments, helping clients make informed capital decisions regarding their land assets by evaluating project feasibility more quickly and precisely. By combining historical field data with hydrological and geospatial models, we provide clients with critical information to prioritize investments in land and water resources across a geographic area."
Traditional environmental site assessments rely heavily on manual desk reviews and individual plot inspections, which limits the scope of search and slows down the speed of feasibility assessments. EcoSite IQ automates the early integration of data, expands the screening range, and simultaneously identifies viable restoration opportunities that are often overlooked by traditional methods.
RES has submitted a provisional patent application for the EcoSite IQ method and continues to expand the system's analytical capabilities and underlying datasets.
