Patreon首席执行官乔恩·康特表示，公司将裁减约20%的员工，并同步调整组织结构。受影响员工将获得至少16周补偿，另按工龄增加一周，医疗保险覆盖至年底，另有1500美元设备补贴。

AI并非裁员直接原因

康特在内部信中说，AI已经改变科技行业，也改变了产品开发和沟通方式。但他强调，公司并不是因为认为AI可以替代员工才做出这次调整。

组织将进一步扁平化

Patreon表示，接下来会把团队重新围绕核心优先事项进行配置，并压缩管理层级。公司称，这次调整是为了让运营方式更贴近当前业务需要。

同时加强反AI抓取措施

上周，Patreon还宣布与 Cloudflare 合作，直接阻止用于训练AI模型的机器人访问创作者内容。公司称，随着AI抓取手段更复杂，这类防护也需要同步升级。
