CoinMeta data: The money supply of the world's four major economies soared to a record $103.66 trillion in August. However, Bitcoin ( BTC ) is still trading about 33% below its October peak. According to data from Macromicro, in August, the Federal Reserve, the European Central Bank, the Bank of Japan, and the People's Bank of China each increased the money supply by $1 trillion, marking the tenth consecutive month of growth. The money supply of the United States ( M2 ) reached a record $23.34 trillion in August, with a year-on-year increase of 5.7%.
