Binance Wallet adds USDT as a payment option for transaction fees on four major networks
2026-09-28 13:48:42
According to CoinMeta, starting from September 25th, the Binance wallet has added USDT as an option for paying transaction fees. Users can conduct transactions on four blockchain networks: BNB, Ethereum, Solana, and Tron without needing to hold the native gas tokens of each network. When users hold USDT in their Binance wallet, they can choose this stablecoin to pay for network fees. Binance indicates that more networks will be supported in the future, but no specific timeline has been provided yet. This option changes the way users pay transaction fees, but it does not cancel the underlying blockchain fees; validators still need to collect the network fees required to process transactions.
