CoinMeta data: Blackstone Group's Chief Investment Officer Rick Rieder stated that he is reducing his stock holdings and shifting to investing in high-grade bonds with current yields of 7% to 8%, which he believes are superior to the expected stock yields of 10% to 12%. Rieder is responsible for managing approximately $2.4 trillion in global fixed-income assets. In a program on Yahoo Finance, he mentioned that the yield on 10-year U.S. Treasury bonds has exceeded 5%, for the first time since 2007. The current yield on 10-year Treasury bonds is 5.167%, and the yield on 30-year Treasury bonds is 5.49%. He pointed out that the market is under pressure due to rising inflation-adjusted interest rates and slowing growth in artificial intelligence. Rieder also mentioned that a yield fund he manages has a yield of 7.2%, and he holds bonds that will mature or be reset within three years in order to limit losses caused by rising interest rates.
