The person in charge of the Department of American and Large-Country Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce interpreted the results of the eighth round of Sino-US economic and trade consultations. Both sides agreed to establish an Artificial Intelligence dialogue under the Sino-US economic and trade consultation mechanism, with Vice Premier He Lifeng and Finance Minister Berenshtein serving as the leaders for their respective countries, and they held their first dialogue to exchange views on the risks and benefits associated with artificial intelligence. Both parties also agreed to set up a communication channel for matters related to artificial intelligence.
