Google's Chrome browser is undergoing an update that will enhance its auto-fill capabilities with the help of AI. Google announced on Wednesday that it will launch an advanced version of the auto-fill feature, which will assist users in filling out online forms and provide suggestions from Gmail.
This means that Chrome may refer to your email, and it is recommended that you need to be aware of the following information: for example, flight confirmation number, membership ID, tracking information, order number, address, phone number, or credit card number.
This update is an expansion of Google's "Personal Intelligence" (Personal Intelligence). This feature already allows users to connect their (Google Apps) to the (AI) assistant (Gemini) in order to retrieve certain details and use this information to answer more complex questions.
Although it may not seem like a significant impact, this update could make Chrome more user-friendly, thus providing users with another reason to continue using Google Chrome and stay within its AI ecosystem. It reminds one of one of Apple's most popular features: automatically recognizing verification codes sent via text messages and displaying them above the keyboard, allowing users to input them with just a tap.
Like other personalized intelligent features, users can decide whether to enable the enhanced version of auto-fill in their Chrome settings. Google states that sensitive data will be encrypted.
This feature will be launched for desktop users in the United States, and it will also be available in the Gemini, in, Chrome, iOS, and Android applications.
