Key Points
- XRP Ads appear on New York subway trains
- Ripple Swell brings several large financial institutions to Manhattan
- Advertising promotion follows closely after the new official brand event XRP.
With Ripple launching the Swell 2026 conference on October 27th, XRP advertisements have appeared in the New York City subway system. At a time when several executives from Wall Street gathered in Manhattan, the brand image of this cryptocurrency was directly displayed to the commuting public.
Videos circulating on social media show prominent white XRP logos appearing in subway carriages and station areas near 42nd Street, with a black background, accompanied by the American flag and the text " Crypto Responsibly .".
U.Today mentioned these displays in a report on October 26th, but the organizers of the event, as well as the advertising budget and duration of the campaign, have not yet been officially disclosed.
XRP brand spreads to New York before Ripple Swell
These advertisements are not limited to traditional digital billboards; they also appear on subway trains and within station areas.
The 42nd Street Transportation Corridor in Manhattan connects heavily trafficked commuting and tourist destinations, allowing the XRP brand to reach an audience that is typically not accessible to it in the crypto industry online.
This promotion also follows closely on the launch of the official X account XRP on October 19th, and it has been over 14 years since XRP Ledger began operating.
This account is jointly managed by Ripple and XRP Ledger Foundation. A unified public image has been established for this digital asset, and a corresponding website, XRP.org, has also been launched.
The website focuses on payments, blockchain applications, and the underlying technology of this cryptocurrency. Its message of “using cryptocurrencies responsibly” echoes the slogan in advertisements on the New York subway.
This subway advertising has added an offline dimension to the growing public exposure of XRP, but it is still unclear whether these advertisements are placed by Ripple, XRP Ledger Foundation, or other organizations.
Ripple Swell In 2026, Wall Street executives were brought to Manhattan
According to the official website of Swell, the event from October 27th to 29th is expected to attract more than 1,500 participants and over 100 speakers, with more than 80 sessions scheduled across three stages.
Ripple combines Swell with the Apex conference that focuses on XRP Ledger, as well as its university research programs, integrating institutional finance with blockchain development into a single event.
Confirmed speakers include executives from CME Group, BNY, Robinhood, Intercontinental Exchange (Intercontinental Exchange), and other financial institutions.
Their participation reflects a growing interest among institutions in digital asset infrastructure, however, attending the conference does not constitute an investment in XRP or any commercial cooperation with it.
The conference topics will include institution XRP ETF, tokenized securities, stablecoins, custody, and blockchain infrastructure.
David Schwartz also plans to discuss the next phase of development under XRPL, including privacy, artificial intelligence, and decentralized finance.
Will the advertising promotion of XRP affect market sentiment?
This round of subway advertisements appeared after the XRP Ledger Hacker Summit held from October 24th to 25th, and the event received support from companies such as Mastercard, Ripple, and Amazon Web Services.
Developer gatherings, promotional activities, and the Swell conference have collectively drawn a high level of concentrated attention to XRP in New York this week.
However, an increase in exposure does not necessarily translate into demand for this cryptocurrency.
Despite Ripple continuously expanding its institutional relationships, XRP is still under pressure recently, with prices below $1.40.
