Billboard has been tracking the best-selling albums in the United States for over several decades.
To top this list is in itself a major achievement, especially when an artist manages to do so with multiple different albums.
Only a few artists have achieved a double-digit number of championship albums, including contemporary superstars such as Taylor Swift, Drake, Jay-Z, and Future. Listed below in descending order of quantity.
Editor's Note:Although Elvis Presley, the "King of Rock and Roll," is often credited with having 10 championship albums, Billboard a representative told Business Insider that most of his most important works were created before the inception of the modern Billboard charts in 1963.
