Currently, Project Odeon is labeled as “Preview” (preview version) in the Microsoft Store, with Microsoft Corporation as the publisher and version number 1.0.9.0. This application requires a system with Windows version number 26100 or higher, and development mode must be enabled during testing to install it.
For example, on the “About” page, Project Odeon shows a storage capacity of 125.9GB, while the system’s original “Settings” page indicates a capacity of 381GB, of which 68GB is already in use. Additionally, there are issues with some pages not being fully completed and links being unavailable within this application.

This application also comes with a hidden preview mode built-in. By using the startup parameter -- preview, you can enter a test environment that includes a virtual account, simulated hardware information, sample settings, and six virtual wallpapers. Everything in this mode is fake, and making arbitrary changes will not affect the actual settings of Windows.
Its homepage displays a device named “Microsoft Dev Box AMD 16vCPU/64GB/2048GB”, and another one named “Enterprise-Preview-PC”; the device information card lists a configuration with a 64-core AMD EPYC 7763 processor, 64GB of memory, and build 26694.5000; whereas the “About” page shows a configuration with a “Preview 8-core” processor and 32GB of memory. Even the Windows information section is labeled as a “preview device”.
Currently, Microsoft has not announced the official purpose of Project Odeon or its release date, nor has it confirmed whether it will replace the existing "Settings" application or accelerate the retirement of the Control Panel.
