On the afternoon of October 15th, at the 2026 OCP Global Summit held in San Jose, USA, NVIDIA revealed to the public the NVIDIA MGX AI Factory ecosystem and list of partners for the next-generation Vera Rubin platform, with Midea appearing on that list.

NVIDIA MGX is not an ordinary industry cooperation alliance, but rather an open hardware architecture and ecosystem chain established around the Blackwell, Vera Rubin and subsequent AI computing platforms. It covers key aspects such as servers OEM / ODM, liquid cooling, power supply, power distribution, and data center infrastructure. As the rack power density of the Vera Rubin platform continues to increase and 45°C high-temperature liquid cooling becomes the new industry standard, MGX ecosystem partners have the opportunity to participate in thermal management specification alignment, CDU adaptation with cold sources, and system-level verification in advance, thereby gaining a first-mover advantage in future global AI factory projects.
According to people familiar with the matter who revealed to Sina Technology, Midea's cooperation with NVIDIA mainly focuses on the field of liquid cooling. The core value of being an ecological partner lies in gaining early access to the technical collaboration and customer introduction systems of the next generation of AI infrastructure. For emerging devices such as liquid cooling temperature control, which are still in a period of rapid iteration, participating in the co-construction of the ecosystem at the stage of forming the technical roadmap and integrating one's own product definition into the MGX reference architecture may be of greater long-term strategic significance than simply obtaining a project order.
