IT News on October 12th: According to a report by the Taiwanese media "Industri & Commerce Times" today, Qualcomm (Qualcomm) has raised the shipment prices of Snapdragon X / X2 Elite and other PC processors by 10% starting from this month.
The report mentioned that Intel (Intel) had previously raised the prices of multiple series of PC processors in September this year. Among them, the version with the "big core and integrated graphics" of "Panther Lake" saw the most significant price increase, reaching 15% to 20%; "Meteor Lake" and "Arrow Lake" had price increases of 5% to 10%; "Alder Lake" (which this time is more likely to refer to "Alder Lake N") and "Twin Lake" also had price increases of 10% to 20%.
On the other hand, AMD is also preparing to adjust the prices of some processors, although the specific increase, range, and effective time have not yet been confirmed.

PC Processor manufacturers are facing cost pressures on multiple fronts: while the quotes for wafer foundry services continue to rise, the prices of components used to assemble chips into usable processors are also increasing.
