News from the IT Home on October 11: According to a report by CCTV News today, reporters learned from the China Foreign Trade Center that the list of winners for the 2026 Canton Fair Design Innovation Award (referred to as the “CF Award”) has been announced. A total of 222 products from 174 enterprises won awards. Among them, Zhangxue Motorcycle's 820RR won the Supreme Gold Award at the Canton Fair, and another product that received the Supreme Gold Award is the Zhixun Capsule Robot Endoscopic System for the stomach.
It is understood that the award-winning products will be showcased collectively during the 140th Canton Fair. These award-winning products feature the following three main characteristics:
Firstly, there is a concentration towards "new" elements, with prominent characteristics of new-quality productive forces. The award-winning products are mainly from technology-innovative enterprises. From the Zhangxue motorcycle 820RR that won the Supreme Gold Award, to the ZhiXun capsule robot endoscope system for the stomach, as well as cutting-edge products such as brain-computer interface rehabilitation systems and exoskeleton robots, these showcase the trend led by innovation in high-end manufacturing.
Secondly, there is an upgrade towards "intelligence," with the development of intelligent products being strong. Among the award-winning products, intelligent products accounted for 32%. AI glasses, intelligent conference terminals, intelligent health and wellness devices, and other products cover scenarios such as home, office, medical, and outdoor use.
Thirdly, there is an emphasis on 'going green', with low-carbon practices integrated throughout the entire process. The concept of sustainability runs through all stages of product research and development, design, and production. Among the award-winning products, 44% are environmentally friendly. The application of new energy technologies such as photovoltaic curtain walls and integrated power-generation and energy-saving panels, as well as the use of materials like sugarcane paper and bio-based fabrics, indicate a deepening commitment to green development.
At the same time, the 140th Canton Fair Product Design and Trade Promotion Center ( PDC ) will also bring together high-quality design institutions from home and abroad. A total of 101 design institutions from 6 countries including the United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands, Greece, Turkey, and South Korea, as well as from Taiwan region and the Chinese mainland, will participate in the exhibition. For the first time, R&D and design institutions specializing in acoustic new materials, battery and new energy technologies, and technology intermediation will also be involved, aiming to empower Made in China with design innovation for quality improvement and upgrading.
