Roth Capital indicates that Target's Circle Days event held from October 6th to 7th lasted only two days, which is shorter than last year's seven-day event. Analysts say that the app downloads during the event were weaker than in October of last year, and may not have met Target's expectations for this event; at the same time, the timing that overlapped with Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days also failed to generate the same level of additional interest as in 2025.

Roth Capital pointed out that Target (Target, TGT) recently completed its Circle Days event on October 6th and 7th, and stated that this two-day event was significantly shorter than last year's seven-day event.

During this Circle Days period, the average daily download ranking reached as high as 11th, whereas during last October's event, the highest single-day ranking was 8th. The analyst added that this performance "may be below Target's expectations for this event."

Analysts also stated that, as last year, Target's promotions overlapped with Amazon's ( Amazon, AMZN) promotional periods, but this "seems not to have generated the same level of additional buzz as in 2025."

Roth gives Target stock a 'neutral' rating.

NVIDIA Quietly Redefines Free Cash Flow; Its Billion-Dollar Repurchase Plan Hides Some Issues
As NVIDIA expands its repurchase authorization to $235 billion, it has added a new phrase: "free cash flow that significantly exceeds strategic uses." The Wall Street Journal notes that this means that its external equity investments will also reduce the cash available for repurchases and dividends; if expenditures related to strategic equity investments and equity incentives are included in the calculation, its adjusted free cash flow for the first half of the fiscal year will be significantly lower than the official figures.
