Genoa, Italy, October 9, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Esaote S. p.A, a company in the field of medical imaging, announced that Midea has completed the acquisition of the controlling stake in its share capital. Midea is a global technology group based in Shunde District, Foshan City, China.

This transaction is aimed at promoting collaboration between Esaote and Midea's medical business segment in order to enhance international competitiveness. Esaote will become part of Midea's medical division and will continue to operate as an independent global medical equipment company, with its headquarters located in Genoa, Italy, and research and manufacturing facilities in Italy and the Netherlands.
