Meta Chief AI Official Alexandr Wang stated that he plans to continue improving Muse, but if users want this agent to help them make money, they also need to put in some effort themselves.
Wang said in a recent interview conducted by Cleo Abram for their program Huge Conversations: "We are always looking for ways to make these agents better. Then we hope they will be able to continue to complete increasingly complex tasks."
"I think that's very interesting, but many people will directly say to their own Muse, 'I want you to help me earn 10,000 dollars.' Obviously, not everyone can earn 10,000 dollars just by saying a few words to Muse."
He added, "If you want to earn $10,000, you have to put in your own effort as well."
Wang previously encouraged users in their #musemoneychallenge activities to use Muse to find ways to save expenses, but asking Muse to help make money is a different level of approach.
Wang said that the goal of Meta is to continue to enhance Muse's memory capabilities, so that it can help users handle more complex tasks.

"The memories of these agents are not like those of humans," he said, "sometimes they seem human, but in reality, there are significant differences. So this is also an area that we have been working hard to improve."
Muse has proven to be a great success for the Superintelligence Labs team under Wang. One month after its launch, Muse still ranks at the top of Apple's App Store free apps list, a position that was previously often occupied by ChatGPT from OpenAI.
Wang indicates that Meta hopes to find a way to bring the "magic" that developers experience when using agents to more ordinary users.
"The entire industry has been very focused on making them better and better at programming," he said, "but we do feel that there is a big gap here, because the majority of people in the world don't know how to program. They may not even want to program in the first place."
Another key point for Meta regarding Muse will be to figure out how to enable a smart agent product to achieve sustainable development.
Wang said that other business models might involve the $10,000 you had Muse help you earn.
"If people use Muse to shop, or if Muse helps them save money, or if Muse helps them make money, then we need to find a way to charge a small fee for these transactions," he said.
