Shrewsbury, New Jersey, October 8, 2026 / PRNewswire / — The magazine “Financial Advisor” announced today that Evan Simonoff, who has served as the editor-in-chief for 26 years, will retire. Award-winning financial journalist and senior Wall Street and market editor Patti Domm will take over as the new editor-in-chief.

She previously served as a market editor at CNBC and held several senior editorial positions at Reuters, including editor for American stocks and Wall Street coverage. Her reporting on financial crises won her an Emmy Award, and her work has also been recognized by the Business Editors and Writers Association ( SABEW ).

Domm has also actively participated in community activities within the financial services industry and has served as a member of the board of directors of the Financial Women's Association.
