Redwood City, California, USA, October 8, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- A consumer-oriented health application Welltory announced that it has received $2 million in growth financing from its long-term partner Braavo Capital to expand its services for patients with chronic diseases Welltory Care. Welltory stated that it has a user base of 18 million people.

This financing marks the latest phase of the long-term cooperation between the two parties. Welltory indicates that during their collaboration, Braavo has provided millions of dollars in growth financing to the company to support its expansion into new products and markets.

Welltory Care brings together people with similar conditions, physiological characteristics, and daily limitations, combining peer experiences with personal data, research, and medical expertise. Welltory utilizes digital phenotyping analysis—i.e., the analysis of data from wearable devices and users' self-reported experiences—to identify groups with similar traits and to build more targeted support around their needs.

Welltory Chief Commercial Officer Veranika Zdanovich stated: "Most health products are designed for the average user, but chronic diseases do not represent an 'average' experience. We have 18 million users, which allows us to gather people with very similar physiological characteristics and daily constraints, and then build research and tools around what this specific group truly needs."

Three months ago, Welltory launched the first Energy Lab group, which consisted of 100 people who experienced discomfort after exercise ( PEM ). Due to the high level of participation, the team plans to expand the group to 500 people, and the clinical results will be collected through a study approved by IRB.

Welltory provides funding for research and product development through its own resources, while the financing of Braavo will mainly be used to support the growth of Care's business and recruitment.

Braavo Capital CEO Mark Loranger stated: " Welltory has always been a long-term partner of Braavo. It is very gratifying to see this company continue to grow while adhering to its mission. We are proud to play a role in this process and to support the efforts that contribute to improving the health and well-being of millions of people."

In the coming year, Welltory plans to launch Care groups targeting migraines, long-term COVID-19 symptoms, chronic fatigue, and irritable bowel syndrome.
