MSC Income Fund Announces Private Loan Portfolio Activities for the Third Quarter of 2026
Houston, October 8, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- MSC Income Fund, Inc. ( NYSE : MSIF, referred to as " MSC Income " or "the Fund") is pleased to announce the following latest developments in its private lending portfolio. In the third quarter of 2026, MSC Income added or increased the total committed amount by $62.2 million to its private lending portfolio and completed a total investment of $61.4 million across the entire private lending portfolio on a cost basis.
The following are notable new private loan commitments and investments for the third quarter of 2026:
- Provided a $14.1 million first-lien secured term loan, a $2.6 million first-lien secured revolving credit line, a $5.1 million first-lien secured deferred drawdown term loan, and $600,000 in equity investment to a company that offers manufacturer representative services and power system integration services;
- Provided a $6.7 million first-lien secured term loan, a $3.8 million first-lien secured revolving credit line, a $4.2 million first-lien secured deferred drawdown term loan, and $300,000 in equity investment to a distributor of medium-voltage cables and accessories; as well as
- Provided a $10.9 million first-lien senior secured term loan, a $3.2 million first-lien senior secured revolving credit line, and a $1 million equity investment to an industrial mixed equipment manufacturer.
As of September 30, 2026, the private loan portfolio of MSC Income had a total investment of approximately $849.6 million based on cost, covering 81 independent companies. Calculated by cost percentage, 90.1% of this private loan portfolio was invested in senior secured debt with first lien, and 9.9% was invested in equity investments or other securities.
