TSMC continued to maintain a strong year-on-year growth trend in September, with monthly revenue stabilizing above NT$510 billion.
On October 8, TSMC announced its latest revenue report, which showed that its consolidated revenue for September 2026 was approximately NT$511.857 billion. This represents a growth of 54.6% compared to NT$330.98 billion in the same period of 2025; however, it saw a slight decline of 0.6% from NT$514.806 billion in August 2026.

This sales growth, amidst investors' widespread concerns about rising debt levels, increasing regulatory obstacles, and calls from OpenAI and Anthropic to slow down the pace of AI technological development, has further strengthened market confidence in the demand prospects for AI. TSMC's stock price has reached record highs this month, reflecting the market's long-term confidence in its cutting-edge products.
Looking at a longer period, TSMC's overall revenue performance in the first three quarters of 2026 was impressive. From January to September 2026, the company's cumulative revenue reached NT$3.899 trillion, a significant increase compared to the same period last year.

Monthly revenue exceeded NT$510 billion, with a year-on-year increase of over 50%.
According to the consolidated financial statement data, TSMC recorded a consolidated revenue of NT$511.857 billion in September 2026 alone.
On a year-on-year basis, this figure has increased by NT$180.877 billion compared to NT$330.98 billion in September 2025, representing a year-on-year growth rate of 54.6% for that single month.
On a month-on-month basis, compared to NT$514.806 billion in August 2026, the revenue for September decreased slightly by 0.6%, amounting to a reduction of about NT$2.949 billion, but the overall scale still remains above NT$510 billion.

Industry signals are being released intensively; AI requires multiple confirmations of demand.
TSMC's performance is not an isolated case. This week, Advanced Micro Devices CEO Lisa Su stated that chip demand is expected to continue to grow significantly in the coming years; Samsung Electronics reported operating profits that increased nearly ninefold year-on-year; AI server assembler Hon Hai Precision also announced quarterly sales figures this week that exceeded market expectations.
As a core manufacturing partner for both NVIDIA and Apple, TSMC is regarded by the market as an important barometer for tracking the demand for AI. The strong performance of several tech giants collectively outlines a trend of continuous expansion in the hardware demand for AI.
