IT News on October 7th: Artificial Intelligence Cloud Service Company CoreWeave announced today, local time, its entry into the Indian market: The company has reached a cooperation with Adan, a token issuance platform under Adani, to lease 240MW of data center capacity in India.

These capacities are located in the Taloja campus of the new city of Mumbai and consist of 3 80MW facilities. CoreWeave plans to deploy the NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform here. The first phase of the Taloja campus is expected to be put into use by mid-2028, with subsequent production capacity being launched in phases thereafter.

CoreWeave plans to invest in India, set up an office, and hire local employees. The company may also double its leasing capacity in Taloja, obtaining an additional 240MW of capacity.

CoreWeave Chief Operating Officer Sachin Jain stated: "India has the talent, developers, and ambition to become a center of innovation in artificial intelligence. We are investing in infrastructure, technology, and localized services to support this growth, providing 240MW of capacity, NVIDIA Vera Rubin, as well as the expertise of CoreWeave for customers building and expanding artificial intelligence in India."
