The U.S. Treasury Department plans to repurchase up to $6 billion in long-term debt tomorrow. Meanwhile, Binance's squeeze risk oscillator has risen above +0.80 again after returning to a balanced level near zero.
Bitcoin prices may face an interesting liquidity test tomorrow, as the U.S. Treasury Department plans to repurchase up to $6 billion in long-term debt. This alone does not guarantee a price increase, but there is another signal emerging on the derivatives side as well.
After finding support around the zero equilibrium level, the Binance Squeeze Risk Oscillator (SMA-14) has risen back above +0.80. In simple terms, the short-term exhaustion signal returned to neutral for a brief period before coming back again.
Bitcoin price faces potential short squeeze
According to analyst "MorenoDV_," this pattern is important because if shorts are completely exhausted, it could make the upward trend more fragile. If the price of Bitcoin rises, short covering could bring buying pressure and may accelerate the upward movement.

However, it's also important not to overinterpret this. This indicator merely suggests such a possibility and does not prove that a forced backfill has already occurred.
The rebound of the oscillator does not necessarily indicate that the leverage has been completely cleared, nor that new shorts have entered the market. What happens to prices next is what really matters.
The range of $84,000 to $87,000 is the answer at hand.
Bitcoin is currently consolidating within the range of $84,000 to $87,000. If the price breaks above this range, accompanied by the liquidation of short positions and a decrease in open contracts, that would meet the conditions for a squeeze. What happens after that is the real test.
The historical stages shown in this indicator chart indicate that positive extremes do not always lead to sustained upward trends. Therefore, even if bears deplete their positions and readings reappear, if prices remain trapped within a range or even fall below it, this pattern may still fail.
The Ministry of Finance's repurchase efforts coincide with the re-emergence of bearish signals.
For now, the Ministry of Finance's repurchases and the Binance Oscillator provide two different clues to the same question: Can upward pressure truly be established?
The price of Bitcoin still needs to break through for confirmation, as well as the underlying demand behind that breakthrough to be verified. Until then, the squeeze is still just a scenario worth observing, not a proven transaction strategy.
