( NYSE American : RLGT ) Today, we announce that the company has acquired the Dallas business of Whitacre Logistics Services, LLC through its wholly-owned subsidiaries Radiant Road & Rail, Inc. The transaction will take effect on October 1, 2026. Radiant Logistics is a leading provider of technology-driven global transportation and value-added logistics solutions.
Whitacre's Dallas business is mainly engaged in multimodal transport and road brokerage services, serving clients across various industries such as construction materials, industrial manufacturing, and packaging. The company stated that the structure of this transaction is similar to previous ones, with some of the expected acquisition payments to be made in subsequent periods, depending on the future performance of the acquired business.
After the transaction is completed, the acquired business will continue to operate as part of Radiant Road & Rail, and will be led by Jeff Vielhaber; at the same time, he will also be responsible for the development of the proxy networks for Radiant Road & Rail. Jeff will report to Radiant, the Senior Vice President and General Manager of US brokerage business, Chris Brach.
