IT News on October 6th: According to a report by foreign media Golem today, German Federal Transport Minister Stephan Bilger stated that he hopes Tesla's FSD (Supervised Version) assisted driving system can be approved within the European Union, and believes that unified approval of such systems by the EU is of positive significance.

Billger stated that the approval process for Tesla's FSD (Supervised Version) involves many technical issues that still need to be resolved, and at the same time, it is also necessary to clarify matters such as responsibility assignment. For him, driving innovation into practice is the most important goal.
This Transport Minister also stated that FSD (Supervision Version) is expected to improve road safety in Germany. He hopes that this system can be put into use in Europe as soon as possible.
IT noticed that Tesla clearly stated in April of this year that FSD (Supervised Version) would be approved throughout the European Union in the coming months. This system allows drivers to significantly reduce their control over the vehicle.
However, FSD (Supervised Version) is actually only at the level of an auxiliary driving system equivalent to L2; drivers need to always be prepared to take over the steering wheel.
