XRP News: Charts indicate a long-term target of $11, but first, it needs to break through $1.66

The chart still shows potential for an upward breakout, but analysts say the token needs to break through $1.56 first, and more importantly, $1.66. If buying pressure takes over again, the target range would be between $2.14 and $2.99; in a longer-term scenario, if the rebound from the August lows evolves into a larger five-wave upward movement, prices above $11 would become a consideration.

The chart for XRP still allows for an upward breakout, but the token must first break through two nearby price levels. Analysts believe that if buyers regain control of the situation, the target range could be between $2.14 and $2.99.

XRP Current Location

XRP rebounded strongly after hitting a low of nearly $0.985 in August and rose again near the lows on September 14th and 15th. Since September 23rd, it has been in a corrective phase.

This analyst stated that the recent two corrections were both slow, repetitive, and involved a three-step decline, whereas the previous rebounds were rapid and strong. He interprets this contrast as a signal that the overall trend is still upward. The latest round of declines even hit new lows on Friday, which he described as completing a textbook example of a corrective pattern.

"We have achieved a textbook example of a reversal," said the analyst, but added that a confirmation of the reversal has not yet been made.

Two levels that XRP must break through

  • $1.56: If we can clearly reach the high point of the previous wave range here, it will be the first signal that the pullback has ended.
  • $1.66: This is a higher threshold. It marks the starting point of a broad resistance zone that extends from $1.66 to $2.80. XRP also showed reactions near this level in February, March, and May.

Upward Target

If XRP breaks through $1.66, the levels that need to be watched next include:

  • $1.94: The next resistance level
  • $2.14 to $2.99: The main target range for analysts. As long as the September low remains valid, this range will remain open.
  • $11 and above: This is a long-term forecast, and it will only come into view when the rebound starting from the August lows develops into a larger five-wave upward movement. Analysts emphasize that this is not a level that XRP must reach.

Support levels that need attention

  • $1.32 to $1.49: This is the short-term support area; ideally, the current pullback should end here.
  • $1.10 to $1.37: A wider support area in the medium term
  • $0.486 to $0.985: This is the main support area. If XRP reaches a new low again, then attention should be paid to $0.73 and $0.48.

This analyst warned that XRP still has room to fall within the range of $1.32 to $1.49. If it falls below this range, it will force the market to re-evaluate its prospects.

Bitcoin liquidation map shows a 90,000-dollar short squeeze area
Data shows that the largest upper clearing concentration area for Bitcoin is around $90,000. If the price touches this level, leveraged shorts may be forced to close their positions. In the past two months, smaller clearing concentration areas have appeared around $83,000 and $75,000, and a move in either direction could accelerate Bitcoin's next trend.

What is Layer 2, and how do L2 networks make money?
Layer 2 is a blockchain built on top of Ethereum, aimed at making transactions faster and cheaper without compromising the security of Ethereum. The article introduces the basic workings of L2, including sorters, transaction batching, fraud proofs, and zero-knowledge proofs, and explains its core profit model: users pay transaction fees, and after the network covers the costs of Ethereum and infrastructure, it retains the difference; some L2 also share revenue with a broader ecosystem.
