The new generation of Dell Pro Rugged 13 Extreme features a "fully robust" design, making it the smallest and most powerful model in its class. It is dust and water resistant, capable of withstanding drops from up to 1.8 meters, and can be safely operated in explosive environments. It is equipped with a 13.3-inch touchscreen that delivers 1400 nits of brightness, and comes with LPDDR5X onboard memory.

The new generation of Dell Pro Rugged 14 belongs to the "semi-rugged" category and is also the most compact and powerful product in its class. It features IP53 dust and water resistance, can withstand drops from a height of up to 0.9 meters, and is equipped with a 14-inch FHD panel with 1100 nits of brightness (touch support is optional). It uses LPCAMM2 memory modules and offers the option of NVIDIA RTX PRO 500 notebook computers GPU.

Both devices support smart card readers, fingerprint readers, and IR facial recognition. They are also optional with a 5G cellular network module and are backward compatible with the previous generation of hot-swappable batteries and chargers.
