Grayscale Zcash ETF (Code: ZCSH) has seen a gain of over 60% in the past month, with a cumulative increase of about 253% this year. The market has once again placed emphasis on privacy-related narratives, and speculative capital has shifted from the AI sector to flow into this product, driving its significant rise.

Zcash The native token ZEC has seen a gain of over 170% this year; in contrast, the price of Bitcoin has remained relatively stagnant this year. Zcash is designed to achieve complete privacy for users' financial transactions. This cryptocurrency was introduced in 2016, but since then, the interest in privacy coins has waned due to compliance challenges they pose to regulatory authorities and exchanges.

As mainstream investment in cryptocurrencies becomes increasingly institutionalized and transparent, and at the same time, artificial intelligence has significantly enhanced the capabilities for large-scale financial monitoring and transaction analysis, these two factors combined have led to a renewed market interest in privacy-related topics. This has also contributed to the official listing and trading of the grayscale Zcash ETF in August.

In comparison, the popular Bitcoin spot ETF IBIT has fallen by about 1% this year; BITW, which tracks the top ten cryptocurrencies, has fallen by 5%. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 ETF ( VOO ) has risen by 12%, and the Nasdaq 100 ETF ( QQQ ) has gained nearly 22%.
