SpaceX is preparing to carry out the most ambitious starship mission to date, and Flight 14 is expected to attempt its first orbital flight with a rocket on Monday.
A 75-minute launch window is scheduled to begin at 8:15 a.m. Eastern Time in Starbase in Texas. If the mission is successful, the spacecraft will remain in space for nearly 10 hours, complete about 6 orbits around Earth, and then attempt a controlled landing in the Pacific Ocean west of Chile.

This mission is significantly different from the previous 13 test flights of the starship, which all deliberately adopted suborbital flight trajectories.
Why Starship Flight 14 Could Become an Important Milestone
SpaceX plans to deploy 26 operational Starlink V3 satellites during the period of Flight 14, which gives the company an opportunity to showcase one of the most important commercial uses of starships.
Each V3 satellite is designed to add approximately 1 terabit per second of capacity to the Starlink network, which means that this mission could potentially increase the total capacity by about 26 Tbps. SpaceX indicates that this is roughly ten times the capacity provided by a typical Falcon 9 launch carrying one V2 Mini satellite.
As SpaceX continues to expand Starlink, this capability may become even more important. The massive payload capacity of the starship is designed to enable the company to deploy larger batches of more powerful satellites, while also reducing launch costs over time.
This task is also related to the collaboration between SpaceX and NASA. NASA plans to test a version of the starship's manned landing system on Earth orbit during the 2027 Artemis III mission. This mission will test rendezvous and docking operations, preparing for the NASA plan to bring astronauts back to the lunar surface during the 2028 Artemis IV mission.
The stock's trend has been volatile since IPO.

Since then, the stock has mostly traded below its initial listing high, and for most of late August and September, it was mainly traded in the range of $140 to $155. Therefore, Flight has reached an important milestone leading to SpaceX.
