Singapore and New York, September 25 (Reuters/ GlobeNewswire ) – GOWell Technology Limited (“GOWell” or “the Company”) announced today that it has completed a business merger with Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. V (Nasdaq ticker: IPEX, hereinafter referred to as “Inflection Point”). Inflection Point is a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC). The business merger was approved by the shareholders of Inflection Point at the special general meeting of shareholders held on September 3, 2026, and was officially completed on September 25, 2026.
The merged new company will operate under the name “GOWell Energy Technology” (“GOWell Energy”). The common stocks of GOWell Energy will begin trading on NASDAQ on September 28, 2026, with the stock code “GOW”.
Following the completion of the business merger synchronization, GOWell also carried out the previously announced investment of Closing PIPE. Under this investment, investors purchased approximately 50 million US dollars worth of GOWell Energy preferred stocks and warrants. Together with the approximately 20 million US dollars in private financing completed when the business merger agreement was signed in October 2025, these PIPE investments have brought a total gross income of 70 million US dollars to GOWell Energy. Excluding transaction fees and expenses, this funds have been used to support the company's growth plans and working capital.
