According to CoinMeta, blockchain detective Zachxbt pointed out that on October 8th, an institution on the BSC chain had its funds, amounting to approximately $2.84 million, stolen by a North Korean-linked organization squidsquad. The attackers deposited 1,111.2 units of ETH into Tornado Cash, and through cross-chain operations, the funds were transferred to multiple addresses before ultimately reaching a Chinese over-the-counter trader OTC.
