Lubian Mining Pool Suffers $3.5 Billion Hacker Attack, Yet No Admitment Has Been Made to Date

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Arkham, in August 2025, a theft of $3.5 billion occurred at the Rubian mining pool, with 127,426 Bitcoins being stolen. This is the largest hacking incident to date, surpassing one that occurred in December 2020. To this day, neither Rubian nor the hackers have publicly acknowledged this incident. Currently, Rubian holds approximately $605.87 million in Bitcoins on the blockchain.
