According to CoinMeta, Ledger has announced the launch of a crypto lending service. Eligible users can use encapsulated Bitcoin cbbtc or WBTC as collateral in their Ledger wallets to borrow USDC or USDT. There is no need to sell Bitcoin, and the private keys as well as the final confirmation are still kept by hardware devices. This feature is supported by Morpho through the technical service provider Yield XYZ, and a new function has been added that allows Ledger devices to connect directly to Morpho without the need for browser extensions or software wallets. It is now available to eligible users.
