Kalshi Launches the First US Stock Index Perpetual Contract with No Expiry Date

According to CoinMeta, Kalshi launched its first US 500 perpetual contract on October 6th, expanding its product range to include leveraged stock index trading. This contract provides American traders with long or short positions in 500 large companies without an expiration date. Kalshi states that the contract tracks a market capitalization-weighted basket of 500 major American companies, among which NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Apple have the greatest impact on the index. The contract was approved by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission on October 3rd, and regulatory authorities classified it as a futures product related to stock indices. Kalshi also certified a separate US500T stock index futures on October 4th. The company mentioned that traders can access these products through its perpetual market selector.
