Trump-backed WLFI plans to launch USD1 online payment

According to CoinMeta, World Liberty Finance ( WLFI ) announced at its Token2049 conference in Singapore that it will introduce USD1 stablecoin payments to major online platforms through collaboration with Mesh. The CEO of WLFI, Zach Witkoff, and co-founder Zak Folkman participated in discussions themed around stablecoins. Folkman stated that in addition to using within their own applications, they also plan to extend this technology to some of the largest Web2 companies. The USD1 stablecoin of WLFI is designed to maintain a value of 1 US dollar and is issued by BitGo, with a market capitalization of approximately 4.45 billion US dollars.
