According to CoinMeta, Coinbase plans to restart Coinbase Pro before the end of the year, integrate Deribit, and launch Coinbase Global Exchange to provide compliant derivatives trading. Coinbase Financial Markets will connect the US with the global crypto derivatives market, enabling qualified US institutional clients to trade options and perpetual contracts. Qualified traders in non-US regions will have access to option trading in the coming weeks, while US retail traders are expected to be allowed to trade later this year. Coinbase Pro will support spot, futures, perpetual contracts, options, and stock trading, and will also introduce a spot leverage trading feature with a maximum leverage of up to 10 times.
