HSBC: Signs of cooling in Asian AI exports
2026-10-06 14:51:56
According to CoinMeta, economists at HSBC stated in a research report that there are signs of a cooling down in AI-related exports in Asia. The report indicates that in recent months, seasonally adjusted shipments of electronic products in Asia have significantly declined, including from Taiwan, China, which is a key supplier of chips. Exports from South Korea are still growing, partly due to the strong prices of advanced memory chips, while the prices of other electronic products in the AI hardware supply chain have begun to cool down. Economists believe that this slowdown is not surprising.
