This launch was facilitated through Sunrise, a token gateway supported by Wormhole Labs. After going live on SHIB, the coin's price has risen, increasing by 3.89% in the past 24 hours. Nevertheless, SHIB is still about 93% lower than its historical high in October 2021. Solana also announced that Sunrise will serve as a channel for other blockchain tokens, relying on Wormhole's native token transfer standards.
