According to CoinMeta, as reported by Fortune, over half of Generation Z investors have shifted funds that were originally intended for investment into sports betting over the past year, but they have not come close to making a profit. Research from Bank of America shows that one-fifth of Americans consider sports betting to be a form of investment, and this proportion rises to one-quarter among Generation Z. The survey also found that 52% of Generation Z investors have reallocated their funds to sports betting in the past year, with 14% indicating that they place such bets multiple times a month. Although Generation Z has performed relatively well in betting, averaging a return of over 80 cents per month, they have still not managed to turn a profit. The survey also points out that Generation Z is optimistic about their financial future, with 56% of respondents believing that their personal finances will improve in the coming year.
