DOGE Foundation: Dogecoin infrastructure expansion brings a new wave of projects
2026-10-04 11:14:40
According to CoinMeta, Timothy Stebbing, the director of the DOGE Foundation, emphasized in a recent tweet that the expansion of DogeCoin's infrastructure has brought about an "absolute wave," with many new projects being built on the DogeCoin/EVM chain. Over the past week, Dogeos launched a public test network that supports Ethereum-style transactions, lending, and other applications, aiming to provide DogeCoin holders with more ways to utilize their tokens. Meanwhile, Metallicus introduced DogecoinVM, connecting DogeCoin to its Metal network. Stebbing stated that these developments mean there are more options than ever before for building outstanding solutions on DogeCoin. DogeCoin is currently moving towards its first Golden Cross in 2026, with the MA 50 and MA 200 levels about to intersect; if confirmed, this would be DogeCoin's first Golden Cross in over a year.
