According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Cointelegraph, a survey conducted by Lloyds Banking Group Lloyds found that 71% of senior executives from financial institutions in the UK believe that tokenization will reshape financial services. The survey covered 100 senior decision-makers from major British banks, insurance companies, asset and wealth management firms, etc. 60% of respondents viewed faster payments and settlements as the main advantage of tokenization, while 41% were optimistic about its potential to improve collateral and liquidity management. Lloyds, the co-head of global markets at Rob Hale, stated that the next step is to transform single use cases into scalable infrastructure, connecting digital and traditional markets through interoperability and common standards.
