According to CoinMeta, the person in charge of NEAR intents, Alex Shevchenko, stated in a post on X that the $3.8 million involved in the previous attack has been fully returned, and the team will cease related investigations. He called for reporting vulnerabilities through the vulnerability bounty program to avoid disrupting services. Shevchenko also mentioned that the identity of the attacker has been identified and demanded that they return the funds to the designated Bitcoin, BNB, Ethereum, and Solana addresses within 48 hours, stating that after this deadline, the window for return will be closed.
