U.S. core PCE in August fell short of expectations; Bitcoin briefly broke through $85,000 before pulling back

CoinMeta data: In August, the US core PCE rose 0.2% month-on-month and 3.0% year-on-year, lower than The Wall Street Journal's forecast of a 0.3% month-on-month increase and a 3.4% year-on-year increase in overall inflation. After briefly breaking through $85,000, Bitcoin fell back. The yield on 10-year US Treasury bonds once dropped to around 5.20%, before rebounding to around 5.28%.
