According to CoinMeta, Wu said that Applied Digital ( NASDAQ : APLD ) announced that the second phase of its Polaris Forge 1 park Building 2 has reached Ready for Service. The three 25MW data halls have collectively added 75MW of critical IT load, enabling all 150MW of Building 2 to be put into operation, and the critical IT load of the park has risen to 250MW. Polaris Forge 1 is a fully leased AI Factory park, and upon completion, it is expected to deliver 400MW of critical IT load according to the existing contracts. Applied Digital currently continues to operate blockchain data center hosting services for Bitcoin and crypto mining companies, but its growth and capital allocation focus have shifted to the HPC and AI data centers.
