CoinMeta data: According to GreeksLive, on October 2nd, 30,500 BTC options expired with a put-to-call ratio of 1.07, a maximum strike price of $82,000, and a notional value of $2.63 billion. At the same time, 116,000 ETH options expired with a put-to-call ratio of 1.17, a maximum strike price of $2,660, and a notional value of $320 million. The price of BTC rebounded significantly on expiration day, and the active trading of call options made this week's expiration relatively lively. Market sentiment remains positive, with community discussions mainly focusing on expectations for increases in major cryptocurrencies' prices. Key option data shows that the implied volatility ( IV ) for the main options expiring this week has decreased from last week but has slightly rebounded from two weeks ago, and is currently at a low level in this current bull market cycle. The monthly realized volatility ( RV ) also shows a similar trend, with the main expiring VRP showing a decline. The peak of GEX was at $90,000 and above, and the distribution of downward GEX has returned to a dispersed state. After a 10-month bear market, the cryptocurrency market has experienced a small bull market that has lasted for over a month and is now in a consolidation phase. Market sentiment has improved significantly, which is a positive sign.
