According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, data center operator Firmus Grid Ltd has set the initial public offering (IPO) price of IPO at A$11 per share, implying a valuation of approximately A$43.7 billion (about $30.3 billion), which is lower than the previous forecast of up to A$50 billion. The company's book-building process will take place from October 6th to 9th, and it is expected to list on the Australian Securities Exchange on October 23rd, potentially becoming one of the largest IPO in Australia. Firmus plans to use the funds raised to purchase GPU and to build a data center project in Batam Island, Indonesia, which is a collaboration with Dayone Data Centers and supported by NVIDIA. Firmus began its Bitcoin mining operations in Tasmania, Australia, in 2019, and is now shifting to AI data center infrastructure.
