According to CoinMeta, the Litecoin Foundation has signed a memorandum of understanding with Greywick Digital, planning to create CLTC as a Litecoin version on Canton Network for use by institutional traders and products that generate income. CLTC is currently in the testing phase and is expected to be launched by the end of 2026. The exact implementation will depend on the announcement of reserve addresses, proof formats, and launch procedures.
